Position Summary
Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious, have a pleasant and outgoing attitude, and want to excel in a warehouse environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a refrigerated and freezer warehouse setting.
ScheduleDays:
Monday – Friday, including weekends when needed
Time: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Pay Rate: $22.14 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure system count matches physical inventory
- Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level
- Identify missing products in storage locations
- Update WMS to match physical inventory using various methods
- Research and document root causes of issues
- Ensure proper product rotation and physically move items as required
- Analyze reports to identify rotation issues
- Accurately receive inventory and audit inbound receipts, both physically and through documentation
- Induct dock items into inventory accurately
- Set up and validate data; input required data elements into WMS and other applications
- Audit existing data for inaccuracies
- Manage unsalable inventory to resolution, including product recalls and disposition (dump/donate)
- Ensure appropriate signage is accurately located in the distribution center
- Process analysis and documentation; support special projects and tasks
- Assist with daily and weekly reports and train warehouse operations on procedures
- Interact with customers and perform all other assigned tasks
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Read, write, understand, and speak English
- Handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow‑up reporting
- Knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and internal applications
- Use handheld computers/scanners regularly
- Operate material handling equipment; occasionally move product in warehouse
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance as an essential function
- Willingness to travel as necessary and work the required schedule
- Complete Penske employment application, background investigation and drug screening
- Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines, and other information; see and verbally communicate effectively
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Frequently move, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
