Business Development Manager - Commercial Insurance

Overview  A leading insurance group is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its expanding team in the East Netherlands. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with leading clients across diverse sectors, while driving growth by developing new business opportunities. This role requires a balance between nurturing long-term partnerships and identifying fresh opportunities for commercial insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities   Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring service excellence.
Develop new business opportunities and proactively win new clients.
Advise on and sell a broad range of commercial insurance products.
Build a deep understanding of client needs across multiple industries.
Collaborate with colleagues across the group to deliver tailored solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile   A background in insurance, financial services, or professional services, with exposure to commercial clients.
Familiarity with commercial insurance products and the ability to understand complex client needs.
A proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and developing new business.
Strong communication and consultative skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset, able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Fluent in Dutch
