Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Lock Haven, PA, supporting early childhood learning within a local school setting. This contract role is open due to an upcoming maternity leave, creating an immediate need for a skilled educator to provide timely support.
Responsibilities include delivering learning support services focused on academic development rather than behavioral or emotional needs. The role involves both push-in and pull-out classroom instruction, allowing personalized educational support tailored to each child's unique learning requirements. Collaboration with para educators or other support personnel provided by the district will be part of the teaching environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education (SPED) teaching certification
