Adult Probation Officer (Full Time)
The Probation Office is accepting applications for a full time Adult Probation Officer.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Criminal Justice.
Qualifications & Requirements- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Computer skills test
- Criminal background check
- Physical and psychological evaluation
- Required to qualify and carry a department issued firearm while on duty.
Starting Salary: $41,981 (Grade J) – Salary will receive an additional increase of $3,000 after one (1) year of employment and $2,000 after two (2) years of employment if appropriate firearms training is completed.
