Paper Technician – Lock Haven, PA

• Owns personal and team safety; observes all safety rules and uses proper safety equipment.
• Manages support functions, including unloading raw materials and delivering them to the production floors; operates the virgin pulper bale feeding system; supports the Dry End, Wet End and Stock Prep operations.
• Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and manufacturing regulations/guidelines.
• Maintains raw‑material inventories and communicates any issues.
• Ensures quality and workmanship standards are met for produced products and performs required product quality checks.
• Maintains required record keeping and ensures shift‑to‑shift communication is maintained.
• Practices good housekeeping by keeping machines and surrounding areas clean.
• Develops and maintains operating procedures and ensures all Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
• Communicates operating problems and status to the Lead Process Operator.
• Properly trains other Process Operator(s) and team members as required.
• Assists maintenance personnel as needed.
• Performs other duties as necessary when directed.
• Shows up ready for work, on time and becomes an expert at the position while remaining capable of performing all departmental Process Operator jobs.
• Understands the business and the impact of the position.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude, including ability to operate a forklift.
• Mathematical skills to operate and understand laboratory testing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Work 12‑hour shifts; ability to work night shift (6:42 pm–7am).
