Position Description
The First Church of Christ is seeking a Senior Minister who can communicate clearly through inspirational teaching, and will demonstrate a warm, compassionate personality that supports the church and community through visitation and spiritual guidance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the biblical qualities of Elders and Shepherds as defined in I Timothy 4:6-13 and I peter 5:1-4. Successful candidate will use his spiritual gifts to preach and teach, be a problem‑solver, and foster a spirit of cooperation between all age groups.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver well‑researched, documented, clear and biblical sermons.
- Support and strengthen a team approach to ministry.
- Encourage and supervise a plan to grow the church.
- Educate and nurture new members.
- Encourage and support the youth program.
