PositionOT Manufacturing Systems Administrator – First Quality Tissue site, Lock Haven, PA.
Responsibilities- Design, engineer, and implement the OT manufacturing network to support operations at the site.
- Lead the implementation of software and hardware across manufacturing systems site‑wide.
- Act as liaison between IT/IS and the controls engineering team, implementing IT/IS policies and procedures on manufacturing systems.
- Manage user accounts on the manufacturing networks and administer Active Directory.
- Maintain backups, network IP addresses, and Windows, anti‑virus, and software updates on the manufacturing network.
- Manage high‑availability virtual server clusters and maintain an asset inventory of all devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches and routers on manufacturing systems.
- Plan and manage device obsolescence and upgrade cycles.
- Troubleshoot communication issues between manufacturing systems and IT systems.
- Monitor network security with tools such as Portnox and Claroty.
- Provide vendor access and coordinate remote/onsite support, testing, upgrades, and projects.
- Assist in network design and changes to meet company needs.
- Work in environments that may involve high noise, dust, or heights.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 10 years).
- Minimum 3 years in IT system administration with experience managing Windows Active Directory, Dell virtual server clusters, network switches, Windows update server, and IT/OT convergence.
- Working knowledge of information security technologies and products.
- Good understanding of industrial control networks and security.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.
