Overview
Patient Registration Coordinator is the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our office. We are looking for a happy, responsible individual who takes initiative, is a team player, and helps set a positive mood for patients as they enter the office. This role provides a bridge between the front and back of the office and supports the patient, staff, and doctors in various ways.

- Greet patients upon arrival
- Obtain insurance information, review it for accuracy, and route to the appropriate staff member. Hand out paperwork according to needs and review accuracy when submitted.
- Update patient status in the computer according to established guidelines
- Verify insurance and frequencies when needed
- Assist with attaching payments, sending claims, and checking billable x-rays
- Maintain front office area and lobby
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Dental experience required
- Customer service skills to provide excellent patient service
- Multi-tasking with ability to prioritize multiple demands
- Effective communication with clinical team, patients, and staff
- Team mindset for patient-focused care
- Positive problem solver with the ability to adapt
