Position OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13‑week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders to improve functional outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia disorders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support resident care goals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy plans and strategies
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
- Active State Speech‑Language Pathology license (must be current)
- ASHA Certification (CCC‑SLP) required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
