• Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Certification (LBS1) required
• Experience working with students in specialized education settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and students

• Ability to provide differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning styles

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction and interventions to students with varied learning needs
• Develop and implement IEPs, maintaining compliance and working closely with multidisciplinary teams

• Cultivate a safe, encouraging classroom environment conducive to learning and development
