Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Lockport, IL 60441

CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

$23-$28/hr

• Solder SMT and/or through hole components to boards.
• Perform basic and/or advanced, standardized and repetitive electro‑mechanical assembly including box builds.
• Perform Wire/Cable/Harness assembly.
• Inspect Electrical and/or Mechanical assemblies, Chassis, Cables, Harnesses for defects.
• May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire, stripping, wiring and fastening connections, pulling kits.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED and/or technical diploma and 3+ years’ equivalent assembly experience and/or military technical training. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, schematics, bills of material, diagrams, and engineering change orders.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
• Ability to work OT on an as‑needed basis to meet company goals.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
• Must possess solid judgement and decision‑making skills.
• Must be well organized and be able to multi‑task.
• Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
• Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.
• Ability to meet quality expectations and follow safety guidelines.
