OverviewAs a Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on critical components used in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and industrial systems. This role requires a strong understanding of welding codes, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys
- Weld components for pressure vessels, piping, and heat transfer equipment
- Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment
- Ensure all welds meet ASME and AWS code requirements
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance
- Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- 2 years' experience in Mig, Tig, Pulse, and Flux Core applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Good communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent. Proven welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Demonstrated ability to weld to ASME and AWS codes and standards
- Ability to pass weld tests (as required)
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Experience working with pressure vessels, piping, or similar equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
