Job Title: Dispatcher – National DCP

Overview

Join National DCP, LLC (NDCP) as a Dispatcher. In this role you will coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods from the Distribution Center to franchise stores for Dunkin’ restaurants. You will maintain communications with all interested parties throughout the delivery process to ensure the best possible product delivery and service.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete and accurate driver schedule.
  • Dispatch fleet at distribution center and related hubs ensuring all routes are staffed appropriately.
  • Track status of vehicles and equipment.
  • Respond to driver calls and assist with breakdowns and accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods movement to store locations.
  • Work with supervisors to schedule drivers for next shift.
  • Process People Net trips from driver computers.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service and track hours for route drivers.
  • Create various reports (weekly mileage, fuel, late truck, etc.).
  • Create Driver Route Books.
  • Track delivery performance and advise stores and Member Services of any delays.
  • Review timecards and People Net for Drivers and Delivery Assistants and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years of transportation industry experience.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (advanced preferred).
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Flexible to varying work schedules.
