Forklift Material Handler

PAY RANGE: $20 to $26 per hour (pay dependent on shift schedule, step increase program, and equipment certifications)

Attendance Incentive
- Up to $2400 bonus for good attendance. (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)

Referral Bonus
- Up to $500 per referral (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)

Hiring Bonus

Step Increase Program
- Pay will increase by $.50 after 90 days and again after 180 days (Material Handlers Only)

Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 p.hr

Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 p.hr

To operate forklifts safely and efficiently for the VAS department; handles all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; loading / unloading of RJW truck / trailers and outside carriers safely and using proper procedures; ensures all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; responsible for properly storing stock in the warehouse;

performs duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities. Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers. Always maintains forklift safety following all safety policies and procedures.

• Assists Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
• Ability to operate sit down forklift work.
• General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
• Loads and unloads RJW truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carriers' equipment.
• Flexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights.
• Picking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times.
• Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Maintains warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Processing outbound cross-dock freight as necessary.
• Oversees storing stock properly in the warehouse and moving product into the storage racks.
• Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers.
