FLEX​/FLOAT Security Officer

Securitas is hiring FLEX/FLOAT Security Officers to provide reliable coverage across multiple client locations. In this on-site role, you will perform access control, interior and exterior patrols, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents and emergencies according to post orders. Officers document all activities and incidents in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional, customer-service-focused presence. This position requires rapid adaptation to new sites, strong communication, and dependable attendance, with varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide flex/float coverage across multiple client sites as assigned
• Control access, verify identification, and manage visitor/contractor entry
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and security systems and respond to incidents
• Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Respond to emergencies following post orders and client protocols
• Deliver professional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
• Follow all safety, security, and confidentiality procedures
• Adapt quickly to new sites, post orders, and client expectations
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
