Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets for diverse client sites. In this mission-driven role, you will monitor entrances, patrol facilities, observe and report safety or security concerns, and respond to incidents with professionalism and composure. Officers enforce site procedures, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and provide excellent customer service to clients and the public.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to control entry
• Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of assigned premises
• Observe, detect, and promptly report suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to post orders
• Enforce site-specific security procedures, policies, and regulations
• Verify credentials and manage visitor and contractor access
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Provide professional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed
• Participate in required training and maintain security certifications
