McDonough, GA – Rank for talented automotive mechanics at Mavis Tire. This full‑time position involves the maintenance and repair of vehicles and is located at Mavis Tire's automotive service and retail tire sales center.

As a leading undercar repair provider, Automotive Mechanics at Mavis are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles, including brakes, struts, shocks, state‑mandated inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, replacement of worn parts, and tire dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive repairs and maintenance
• Conduct undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks, etc.)
• Complete state‑mandated inspections
• Change oil and filters; check fluids
• Replace worn parts
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds

Eligibility requires: (1) minimum age of 18 years; (2) legal authorization to work in the United States; (3) at least 2 years of experience or equivalent training/education; (4) an extensive personal tool set for undercar repairs.

Preferred qualifications include: (1) state inspection license(s); (2) ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
