Job DescriptionThe Hybrid Member Service Agent role blends teller and member service responsibilities. The agent will provide high‑level service, achieve sales targets, and offer expert counseling to members, using extensive product knowledge to cross‑sell opportunities.
Essential Functions- Maintain customer relationships through accurate account entries.
- Deliver superior service to members and guests.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Employ strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Educate members on digital banking solutions such as mobile, online, Zelle, and ATM.
- Identify financial needs and cross‑sell products with integrity.
- Resolve member concerns collaboratively.
- Process consumer loan applications, reviewing and analyzing supporting documents.
- Open, close, and maintain member accounts.
- Apply knowledge of IRA and HSA contributions and distributions.
- Identify and report suspicious activities, including phishing, money laundering, fraud, and identity theft.
- Serve as a Notary Public as directed.
- Prepare daily branch balance reports.
- Adhere to dual control protocols and support management with daily operations.
- Cover concierge desk duties as assigned.
- Process and balance monetary transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash checks, and cash advances.
- Maintain cash drawer security and document confidentiality.
- Handle Shared Branching deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and mortgage payments.
- Scan checks and negotiable instruments for processing.
- Meet balancing standards consistently with high accuracy.
- Maintain relationships with credit union stakeholders.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Adapt schedule to relieve multiple branch offices within the Atlanta area.

RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately.
- Comfortable working with little to no supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to sit or stand approximately eight hours a day.
- Flexible to relieve multiple branch offices and willingness to work Saturdays.
- Compliance with all Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
- Associate’s degree in Finance or related field.
- 1+ years of teller experience.
- 1+ years of credit union or financial services experience.
- 1+ years of loan experience.
- Notary Public certification.
- Experience with Symitar.
- Knowledge of Delta Community Credit Union policies and procedures.
