The Data Analyst will be based in Locust Grove, GA and will partner with the Cottage Grove, MN team to deliver supply chain planning analytics and data-driven insights. This role is 100% onsite.
Role applies practical supply chain knowledge to identify, analyze and solve problems within a single value stream. Implements and supports continuous improvements and business process changes.
Primary Responsibilities- Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver).
- Provide a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making.
- Optimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands.
- Identify supply chain problem areas and drive improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, utilizing supply chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
- Facilitate functional teams and meetings.
- Provide daily work direction to others in value stream (planners and other project participants).
- Work independently with general supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
- 3–5 years of Supply Chain experience.
- Working knowledge of supply chain data analytics, including SAP Business Objects, Power BI, SQL, and Advanced MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining, and data reporting.
- Proficiency in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, and waste elimination.
- Engages with others in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationship.

- Previous success in ERP implementation.
- Previous success in a greenfield manufacturing startup.
- Previous experience in a high-volume, high-variety just-in-time manufacturing environment.
