Your role as a Scrap Yard Grapple/Shear Crane Operator is vital to our operations. You'll be responsible for safely operating cranes with grapples, shears, and magnets to load scrap into balers, as well as sorting and organizing materials for processing.

The job involves physical labor and outdoor work, but it also offers a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from mastering your machine and contributing to team success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Maintaining clear communication with team members to coordinate crane movements.
• Adhering strictly to safety procedures and yard protocols.

We are looking for a Crane Operator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a scrap or recycling yard, or similar setting. You should be proficient with grapple and magnet attachments, and possess a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures.

Reliability, focus, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. While certifications are a plus, they are not mandatory.
