This is a full-time, on-site role located at Locust Grove High School in Locust Grove, GA. The Girls Head Basketball Coach will oversee all aspects of the girls' basketball program, including planning and leading practices, strategizing for games, and fostering a positive team culture. Additional responsibilities include skill development, mentoring student‑athletes, ensuring sportsmanship, and collaborating with school staff and administration. The coach will also coordinate team activities and ensure adherence to school and athletic policies.

• Proficiency in Basketball Coaching and a strong understanding of the game of Basketball
• Demonstrated Coaching and Training skills to support athlete development and team growth
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive team environment
• Previous coaching experience and knowledge of athletic program management is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant certifications are desirable
• Commitment to upholding sportsmanship and supporting the academic success of student‑athletes
