We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator with tractor trailer loading experience to help keep our Locust Grove scrap metal yard running safely and efficiently. In this role, you will handle a wide variety of metal materials and play a key part in our yard operations.

• Operate forklifts and related equipment to safely load and unload trucks, including tractor trailers, with ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Move, stack, and organize metal materials throughout the yard to keep traffic flowing and work areas clear.
• Assist with sorting, processing, and general labor tasks to support daily yard production needs.
• Work safely and efficiently in outdoor conditions year-round, following all site and safety procedures.
• Complete daily equipment inspections, report maintenance needs, and help keep the yard clean and orderly.

• Within your first few months, you consistently load and unload tractor trailers accurately and safely, without damage or incidents.
• You keep materials organized so trucks move in and out on schedule and the yard stays efficient and productive.
• You are recognized as a reliable team member who communicates well, follows safety rules, and can be counted on to step in where needed.
• You help maintain clean, safe work areas and well‑maintained equipment, contributing to our strong safety culture.

• At least 3 years of forklift operating experience; prior work in a scrap yard, warehouse, or industrial environment is a plus.
• Proven experience loading and unloading tractor trailers with a forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset, solid communication skills, and a track record of reliability, punctuality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

  Monday Friday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM;
  Saturday, 8:00 AM12:00 PM.
