• Dispatch roll-off trucks to customer locations, job sites, and internal yards
• Plan daily routes and coordinate schedules for maximum efficiency
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT and state transportation regulations
• Maintain accurate records as needed
• Track equipment locations and availability (dumpsters, trucks, etc.)
• Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, customers, and Transportation Manager
• Prioritize safety protocols and enforce company and regulatory safety standards
• Troubleshoot delays, customer concerns, or logistical challenges as they arise
• Support fleet maintenance scheduling and inspections

• Proven experience dispatching roll-off trucks
• Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and state compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to think fast and problem-solve in real time
• Customer service mindset with a sense of urgency
• Proficiency in dispatching software and GPS tracking systems
• Experience in the scrap metal, waste, recycling, or construction industry a plus
