Qualifications &

Certifications:

• Minimum 4.0 EIPA Score and/or RID Certification required
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
• Exceptional command of American Sign Language (ASL)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interpret in both one-on-one and group instructional settings
• Demonstrated professionalism and adaptability within school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classroom instruction, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities
• Support students understanding of curriculum content, fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and staff to address the unique needs of each student
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individual education plans as needed
