Position: Compliance Specialist I

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Compliance Specialist I located in Lodi, CA. The Compliance Specialist will be handling the Bank’s HMDA data gathering and reporting requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing policies and procedures, preparing reports, identifying potential noncompliance issues, and partnering with department teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards. Additionally, the role entails providing compliance support through effective communication and keeping up-to-date with changes in regulations that may impact the business.

Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and monitor processes effectively
  • Excellent Communication skills across verbal and written channels
  • Requires high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic proficiency in using compliance management software and office productivity tools
  • Prior experience in the banking or mortgage industry is a plus
  • Support the department with other duties as assigned
