The Commercial Construction Loan Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Lodi, CA. This role supports commercial construction lending by assisting with loan origination, processing, documentation, and closing activities. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with relationship managers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to service construction, participation and syndication loans. The associate monitors construction draw requests, tracks project progress against budgets and timelines, and ensures compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
The role also involves maintaining organized records, updating loan systems, preparing internal reports, and providing responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience or coursework in commercial lending, construction financing, or related banking operations.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills for reviewing financial information, documentation, and project budgets.
- Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and ability to learn banking and loan management systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple loans, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Understanding of basic credit principles, collateral evaluation, and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Prior experience in banking, commercial real estate, construction, or loan administration is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
