• Perform basic and critical respiratory care therapies as ordered and in accordance with department policies.
• Work effectively with minimal supervision and provide supervision over other staff as delegated.
• Deliver respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, including those with complex respiratory diseases.
• Follow physician orders and current departmental policies across all phases of respiratory therapy.
• Complete documentation, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient in a timely and accurate manner.

• Current licensure to practice respiratory therapy in California (license requirements taken from job context).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Ability to provide respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients per physician orders.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and patient documentation.
• Capacity to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting.
