Job SummaryAs a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide both basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients. You’ll work independently while also guiding and supporting team members when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies
- Manage ventilators and assist with advanced respiratory support
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and pulmonary function testing
- Monitor, assess, and document patient responses and treatment plans
- Assist with bronchoscopies and specialized procedures
- Educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory care
- Ensure compliance with ventilator and VAP bundle protocols
- Maintain and manage respiratory equipment
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS / PEARS
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience (preferred)
