Data Analyst - Health, Senior

Your Role

The Consultative Support and Project Management team provides analytical support for provider contract negotiations and oversees competitive intelligence data for the organization. The Data Analyst, Senior will report to the Manager of Data Analysis. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Actuary, Network Compliance, Contracting Network Managers, and other Provider Network stakeholders to evaluate the health, performance, and strategic positioning of contracted entities.

You will analyze utilization, financial, regulatory, and market trends; investigate anomalies; and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support network planning, contract strategy, and business decision-making. You will also support the development, validation, and distribution of reports and dashboards that are critical to Provider Network leadership and the financial health of the organization.

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Master's Degree (MPH, MBA, MS, or MA) is preferred
• Requires 5 years of experience in Health Care (managed care, academic, or gov't payer)
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel and Access, Unix, SQL/PL-SQL, SAS. SAS Base and advanced certification is preferred
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (written and verbal
  ) and presentation skills, previous experience in presenting to leaders
• Practical knowledge of project management is preferred

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
