Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
Mandatory overtime on Saturdays as required
Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Sorter to support daily production operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for sorting, inspecting, stacking, and packaging products while assisting machine operators and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Package various types of products according to company standards
- Inspect products and equipment for defects, contamination, and quality concerns
- Hand-stack boards, stakes, and other materials and transfer them to designated inventory areas
- Assist machine operators with production activities as needed
- Monitor product quality and identify defects or non-conforming materials
- Communicate production issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as required and authorized
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Report hazardous conditions and support corrective actions when needed
- Support production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift, stack, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing and production facility environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
- Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and changing temperatures
- Overtime and Saturday work may be required based on production needs
