Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
- Use various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux‑Cored Arc Welding to join, repair, or fabricate metal parts.
- Fit and assemble metal components to meet specified tolerances and alignments.
- Cut, bend, and shape metal using tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, and torches.
- Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and positioning materials.
- Inspect finished welds and fabrications for accuracy, strength, and quality.
- Perform necessary adjustments or rework to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Operate welding machines, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow company and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.

Qualifications & Skills Education and Certifications- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) preferred.
- Technical training or apprenticeship in welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
- 1–3 years of welding and fitting experience, depending on the complexity of the role.
- Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or similar industries.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of material properties and welding procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, outdoor worksites).
- Involves working in manufacturing facilities, construction sites, and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and heavy machinery is common.
- Regular use of safety equipment, such as helmets, gloves, and protective eyewear, is required.
- Quality and precision of welds and fittings.
- Adherence to safety protocols.
- Efficiency in meeting project deadlines.
- Maintenance of tools and equipment.
