The Next Gen Director & Executive Assistant provides leadership and vision for Radiant Life Church's Next Gen Ministry
, serving children and students from nursery through high school, while also serving as the primary executive assistant to the Senior Pastor.
This position exists to disciple the next generation, equip volunteers, partner with families, and provide exceptional administrative leadership that advances the mission of Radiant Life Church.
The ideal candidate is a spiritually mature Christ-follower who demonstrates servant leadership, organizational excellence, initiative, integrity, and a passion for helping children and students develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
Primary Responsibilities Next Gen Ministry Leadership (Approximately 60%)- Provide overall vision, leadership, and direction for all Next Gen Ministries, including Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive discipleship strategy that supports children and students at every stage of their spiritual growth.
- Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and encourage volunteers for all Next Gen ministries.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with local schools, school administrators, teachers, coaches and community leaders to build meaningful partnerships that strengthen Radiant Life Church’s presence in the community, support families, and create opportunities to reach children, students, and their families with the love of Christ through service outreach, and collaborative initiatives.
- Ensure every ministry environment is safe, welcoming, engaging, and centered on God's Word.
- Select, coordinate, and oversee biblically sound curriculum for each age group.
- Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and volunteers.
- Partner with families by providing resources, communication, and opportunities that strengthen faith at home.
- Plan and oversee Summer Fun Week, Fall Fest, camps, retreats, youth activities, outreach events, family ministry events, and seasonal programs.
- Develop student leadership opportunities and encourage the next generation to discover and use their spiritual gifts.
- Maintain ministry budgets, attendance records, volunteer schedules, and ministry supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all church child and youth protection policies, volunteer screening, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to create a unified ministry approach that supports the church's mission and vision.
The successful Next Gen Director will demonstrate:

- Manage the Senior Pastor's calendar, appointments, meetings, and ministry schedule.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and ministry communications.
- Coordinate church-wide communications, announcements, newsletters, and ministry information.
- Assist with planning and coordination of church events, leadership meetings, and ministry activities.
- Maintain church records, membership information, and confidential files.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide exceptional hospitality to members and guests.
- Coordinate office operations, ordering supplies, and maintaining organized administrative systems.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding pastoral, personnel, and church matters.
