Job Overview

• Provide direct patient care for adults recovering from complex cardiac procedures, including post‑operative monitoring and hemodynamic management.
• Perform arterial and central venous access, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and vasoactive medication administration.
• Manage chest tubes and coordinate care with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, respiratory therapists, and nursing teams.
• Champion infection control, maintain accurate documentation, and efficiently utilize critical care resources.
• Communicate patient status and concerns with families in a sensitive and clear manner.

Opportunities exist to deepen expertise in cardiac post‑operative care, complex telemetry, and acute‑care protocols. Additional certifications, mentorship of junior staff, and leadership experiences may be pursued as the team evolves.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,232 to $2,398, with flexibility to adapt to unit needs. The contract is structured in weeks at a time, with potential for extension. The position includes a sign‑on stipend, housing assistance, and 24/7 recruiter and clinical support.
