RN - NICU:
Night Shift/36-48 hours;
Needs Post Partum Ep. NICU RNs float as NRP nurses and to postpartum. Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary. In-Office | Lodi, CA, United States.

Responsibilities
  • Provide critical NICU nursing care to neonates, including assessments and monitoring.
  • Monitor patient vitals, chart progress, and respond to changes with rapid interventions.
  • Identify and elevate high-risk cases to physicians in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to NICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
  • Document all clinical findings accurately in electronic health records.
  • Utilize data and pipelines to track performance metrics and outcomes.
  • Educate families on infant care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in shift handovers ensuring clear communication of patient status.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning through certifications and on-the-job training.
  • Mentor junior staff and support a collaborative, high-visibility work environment.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Active RN license with current NICU or critical care certification.
  • Experience in NICU neonate assessment and rapid intervention protocols.
  • Proficiency in monitoring vitals, charting, and EHR documentation.
  • Ability to expedite high-risk cases promptly to physicians.
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and data-driven care.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, certifications, and on-the-job training.
  • Knowledge of NICU infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary care planning and care transitions.
  • Strong communication during shift handovers and family education skills.
  • Mentorship ability for junior staff and fostering a collaborative environment.
