Position: RN - NICU-Lodi-CA-14875-Pay Negotiable

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines through critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision‑making.

Essential Functions
  • Collects relevant data pertaining to the patient's health status or condition.
  • Analyzes assessment data to identify nursing diagnoses and patient care needs.
  • Develops individualized plans of care with appropriate interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Implements nursing interventions, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Evaluates patient progress toward expected outcomes and modifies the plan of care as appropriate.
  • Identifies expected outcomes based on the patient's condition and care needs.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care.
  • Provides education and health information to patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegates responsibilities appropriately and coordinates the activities of healthcare team members.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
