Location: Lodi, CA, United States

Employment: 13‑week, 40‑hour per week RN – suitable for perioperative, PACU, or endo roles in the outpatient procedure unit.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Days: 2:1 staffing ratio
  • On‑call required, including weekends
  • Float required between sister units
  • Weekend coverage on call

Lodi Memorial Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in San Joaquin County with a 190‑bed facility, medical offices, home care services, and comprehensive cancer care.

Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs various levels of nursing staff, coordinates care with other disciplines, and utilizes critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision‑making.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
  • Acute‑care facility experience – Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice – Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
Essential Functions
  • Collects relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation.
  • Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve outcomes.
  • Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Evaluates progress toward outcomes and identifies goals for the patient or situation.
  • Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to deliver patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
  • Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members.
  • Directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
  • Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates healthcare team members.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
