Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Lodi, California. Start date 06/08/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $3,235–$3,345 per week. Guaranteed hours:
0. Shift is day shift 0800–1630 (5x8). Practice setting is a Short-Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a perioperative nursing role focusing on OR patient care across the surgical workflow.

Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (travel assignment)
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams, maintain a sterile field, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status (vital signs, anesthesia response, and hemodynamics) and manage equipment and instrumentation required for procedures.
- Administer medications as ordered, document accurately in the medical record, and follow hospital policies for medication administration.
- Support efficient case flow through room turnover, equipment management, and supply readiness; participate in post-case debriefs and charting as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, adhere to regulatory standards, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) — required
- Education:
Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred - Experience:
Five years of technical OR nursing experience preferred; two years of acute care hospital nursing experience preferred; one year of leadership experience preferred - Certifications:
CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved AH vendor preferred; national specialty certification in area of expertise or nursing administration preferred - Ability to work in a perioperative, hospital-based setting and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
