• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams, maintain a sterile field, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient status (vital signs, anesthesia response, and hemodynamics) and manage equipment and instrumentation required for procedures.
• Administer medications as ordered, document accurately in the medical record, and follow hospital policies for medication administration.
• Support efficient case flow through room turnover, equipment management, and supply readiness; participate in post-case debriefs and charting as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care, adhere to regulatory standards, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) — required
• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Experience:
  
  Five years of technical OR nursing experience preferred; two years of acute care hospital nursing experience preferred; one year of leadership experience preferred
• Certifications:
  
  CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved AH vendor preferred; national specialty certification in area of expertise or nursing administration preferred
• Ability to work in a perioperative, hospital-based setting and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
