  Short-term acute care hospital with mixed MS/Telemetry responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to an assigned group of Med/Surg patients following the nursing process
• Gather and analyze patient data; develop and implement care plans; evaluate progress toward outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and manage potential adverse effects
• Monitor telemetry, identify rhythm disturbances, and coordinate rapid response when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members; participate in discharge planning and patient education
• Delegate tasks appropriately, supervise nursing staff as assigned, and maintain a safe, healing environment

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience;
  Med/Surg and telemetry experience preferred
• Education:
  
  BSN preferred
• Ability to work night shifts on a fast-paced MS/Tele unit
