Emergency Room Nurse

Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care for patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring timely and effective treatment according to established protocols. Supervises and directs nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Assess and prioritize patients’ needs upon arrival and throughout treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessment and diagnosis.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and adjust care as necessary to promote safety and recovery.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate care transitions to maintain continuity of care.

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Demonstrate experience in an acute care or emergency care setting preferred.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Possess current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Be able to employ critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
