American Traveler is hiring a RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least 3 years of specialty experience.
Details- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36-48 hours per week
- Requires EPIC EMR experience
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Recent experience within the last 3 months in the ER specialty required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required and must be documented in employment history
- No candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will be considered
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and healing care
- Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Local candidates are accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
