Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Oversees patient assessments, implements care plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and interpret clinical data to determine care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing staff and coordinate care delivery across disciplines.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.
• Demonstrated strong critical thinking and communication skills.
