American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Acute position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience on day shift.
Details- Med/Surg Acute unit setting in an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty required
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and humane care
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education on health information
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
- Required vaccinations must be met as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
