• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion to support safe and effective care.
• monitor patient conditions, administer medications per policy, document promptly, and respond to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with the health care team to develop and implement individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.

• Active RN license (state-specific licensure applicable to practice in the United States)
• Education:
  
  graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Med-surg or inpatient nursing experience in a fast-paced unit is preferred
• Ability to work in a med-surg inpatient setting and to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
