Help serve and impact the local community through the commitment to “Do The Most Good” at our Lodi Thrift Store, which supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program. This role focuses on promoting a positive shopping/donor experience, customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork in support of the Program and its participants.

To be considered for this position:

• Must be able to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions.
• Must pass a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ensure all Customer and Donor needs are met by greeting and providing prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items ready for the sales floor.
• Maintain the store and donation area; keep it clean, neat, and organized; perform cleaning duties as assigned by Management.
• Follow all POS/Cash Register Policies in accordance with TSA Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Attend required Monthly Store Meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Assist donors with removing donated items from vehicles and provide receipts.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack material as instructed by Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Our stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Part-time associates may be scheduled for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

High School or Equivalent or better.
