Starting rate: $16.90 per hour.

The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs a variety of tasks including:

• Receive inventory, operate a cash register, and process customer transactions.
• Stock and maintain assigned store sections, ensuring proper pricing, rotation, and display.
• Prepare perishable products for sale and set up promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Offer friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles as requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost or damaged goods.

• Read and write in English and communicate effectively with the public and co‑workers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
