Schedule: 100% On-Site | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $70,000-$85,000

A small, established company in Lodi, NJ is seeking a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for a versatile, self‑motivated professional who is comfortable working on‑site in a close‑knit team environment and who values consistency and adherence to established processes.
Reporting StructureThe Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper will report directly to the Controller/Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Handle daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger support
- Maintain accurate financial records using Quick Books Desktop
- Assist with month‑end close and routine financial reporting
- Perform basic Excel tracking and reconciliations
- Support internal teams with accounting and administrative needs
- Follow existing accounting processes and procedures consistently
- Operate independently in a small office environment with broad responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal accounting education preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office
- Prior experience in a small business or lean accounting environment preferred
- Comfortable working fully on‑site and managing multiple tasks independently
- Quick Books Desktop
- Basic Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and follow‑through
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Team‑oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Technically capable and willing to learn
- Comfortable working within established systems and processes
- Self‑starter who can advocate appropriately when needed

- Small team (approximately 12‑13 employees)
