Overview
At Dentistry for Children, we believe in providing exceptional care to our patients while fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment for our team. We are seeking a Front Office Supervisor who is passionate about leadership, patient care, and operational excellence to join our front office team.
The Front Office Supervisor is a key member of the team and will work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk and patient care processes. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the front office, managing the front desk staff, and ensuring that operational goals are met.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, organizational skills, and excellent conflict resolution and leadership abilities.
Compensation: Up to $25.00
Location: Lodi, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, every other Tuesday until 6:00pm
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the front office team, ensuring they adhere to Chord Specialty Dental Partners’ policies and operational procedures.
- Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance appraisals, and handle corrective actions as needed to support team growth and success.
- Ensure the front office staff has the resources, support, and information necessary to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Manage key administrative tasks, including preparing reports, completing bank deposits, reviewing financial reports, and overseeing payroll, accounts receivable, and invoice processing in a timely manner.
- Review and approve employee timecards daily, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met.
- Complete and maintain necessary OSHA paperwork, including OSHA 300, 301, and 300-A forms.
- Initiate FMLA and ADA paperwork and coordinate with Human Resources as needed.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Support the marketing and promotional programs to encourage new patient growth.
- Assist in the hiring process to ensure the best individuals are selected for the team.
- Provide constructive, honest feedback to team members to drive performance improvements and ensure team effectiveness.
- Ensure all front office staff arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to provide excellent service.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a lead or supervisor position, preferably in a dental office.
- Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well with doctors, patients, employees and others
- Knowledge of dental terminology and computer systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
