We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, performance, and continuous improvement of a diverse portfolio of commercial‑grade electromechanical products
. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys balancing hands‑on troubleshooting, product testing, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver durable, high‑performing solutions that meet real‑world customer demands.
This position offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle while partnering with sourcing, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and production teams to optimize product quality, reliability, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead evaluation, testing, and optimization of electromechanical systems and components
, including motors, solenoids, and related assemblies. - Drive product performance, durability, and reliability initiatives to ensure commercial‑grade standards are consistently achieved.
- Conduct hands‑on troubleshooting and validation testing within the Lodi workshop while providing technical direction to internal technicians.
- Collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners to improve production quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Benchmark products against competitor offerings and identify opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using Solid Works or Creo (Pro/Engineer).
- Apply both electrical and mechanical engineering expertise to diagnose issues and support product development efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline preferred.
- 5–8 years of electromechanical engineering experience within commercial, industrial, or mass‑produced product environments.
- Strong experience working with rugged, high‑volume commercial products
. - Proficiency with Solid Works and/or Creo (Pro/Engineer).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems
. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.
- Passion for developing durable, high‑performing products and solving complex technical challenges.
- Minimal travel required (
approximately 2–3 trips annually
). - Candidates must be local to the Lodi, NJ area; relocation assistance is not available.
