Felician University is presently seeking an experienced Information Technology professional to serve as a temporary Help Desk Technician from the beginning on August 10, 2026.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, the Help Desk Technician provides 1 st line technical support to faculty, staff, and students in the resolution of hardware and software problems through assistance via phone, email or onsite.

Required
Education:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience relevant to 1 st line/help desk support;
- Proven experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, One Drive);
- Demonstrated experience managing Outlook within a network environment;
- Excellent people skills, ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people;
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to disseminate information in a clear, concise manner both in person and via telephone;
- Well-developed organizational skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work efficiently;
- Professional appearance and demeanor;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows desktop technologies;
- Familiarity with Smart board configurations and set up;
- Solid understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration and imaging computers;
- Ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University.
