Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant
A fast-growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Senior Accountant (Direct Hire) to support the continued expansion of its operating company network. This is a highly hands‑on accounting position with ownership of the full accounting cycle and month‑end close for one to two operating locations representing approximately $10M‑$15M in annual revenue
.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a growing, environment and can translate financial information into practical insights for operations leaders and other non-accounting stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Own day‑to‑day accounting and month‑end close activities for one to two operating companies, with a focus on improving close accuracy and reducing the current close timeline.
Partner directly with operational leaders to understand business activity, investigate financial variances, and clearly communicate accounting and financial results to non‑finance personnel.
Support the integration of newly acquired businesses, including accounting processes, financial data, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple locations.
Contribute to the transition from Quick Books to Net Suite
, helping establish scalable accounting processes and controls as the organization continues its acquisition growth strategy.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
4+ years of accounting experience
, preferably in a small to mid‑sized organization where the candidate has been hands‑on across multiple areas of accounting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, operations teams, and field personnel who may not have an accounting background.
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
, including occasional longer hours and travel to the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters approximately 2–3 times per year;
Net Suite experience is preferred
.
Salary: $90-105K base (possible flex) + Benefits
Location Logan, UT – Hybrid (3 days in office)
